The Nuits-Saint-Georges’ Museum The Nuits-Saint-Georges’ Museum

Created in 1975, the Museum of History and Archaeology is set in the Maison Rodier, the former wine enterprise. It houses some Gallo-Roman and Merovingian collections. 
The gallo-roman collections : the museum includes some beautiful Gallo-Roman collections. They call to mind everyday life, religious beliefs and the funeral rites of the inhabitants if an ancient village located in the named locality of "Les Bolards".
The Merovingian collections : in the Merovingian room, a central location is give to the constructions of monumental tombs. Weapons, jewels which these tombs contain, reveaul the technical mastery acquired in the metal work.

Timetable:
Open from the 2nd of May to the 31st October, everyday but tuesday, from 10.00 to 12.00 am and from 2.00 to 6.00 pm.

Adults: 2.40 €
Children (<12 y. old): Free
Children (12 to 18 y. old): 1.50 €
