The Bolards’ excavations site
In the 1st century before J.-C a town was established, out of the actually city by the Eduens and then it was influenced by Roman people living there. On this place, a great semicircle sanctuary, a temple of Mithra , a basilica, a necropolis and some remains of workshops and homes with storerooms and caves were founded.
The organisation of the places, the quality and the diversity of the objects presented in the museum testify of the dynamism of a prosperous population.
