Concoeur and Corboin
A short history...
The name of Corboin could come from "carbon" because of coal and forges which were established there, and Concoeur could come from "comes", which means little houses.
Known because of breastplates made here, this village welcomes the property of Entre-Deux-Monts. At first, in the 11th century, there was a little castle, then it was a fortified barn of Dukes of Burgundy. And many buildings through years, led it to the actual castle with one of the most beautiful dove-tower of Burgundy (1633 niches) and a nice chapel.
Concoeur et Corboin, like most of villages of Hautes-Côtes, is a kingdom of blackcurrant and little red fruits and is a stop on the "Route du Cassis".
In 1969, the hamlet has been linked with Nuits Saint Georges.
